Can you please elaborate on the type of subscription/registration form you're looking for?

It it just supposed to send you an email?

Does it need to tie into an autoresponder?

You'll need to give a few more details and possibly point us to an example of what you're looking for.

Just a subscription where I can have a list of emails that I can contact.

Also a registration form such as control panels, profiles.. etc

For an email list services like Aweber (or the cheaper private label 'Profollow.com') are excellent. You create a list, then your form. You can then embed your form on your website. Users will be then added to your Aweber list.

A self-hosted option is Interspire Email Marketer. Make sure to be careful if you plan to send large amounts of emails out from your own server. For this reason I prefer a hosted solution like Aweber or GetResponse. Mailchimp is also a great system.

If you need a private area where a user will need to register for to have access, 1 option is Amember. I'm currently using it an find that it's excellent. There's also solutions like Wishlist Member (a wordpress plugin).
