I need a particular shape/brush? but have no idea what to search for.

It's the shape you would use to circle objects on an image to alert users of certain parts of the pictures. It's a cirlce that looks like it's drawn with a pen.

Sorry I can't find an example but all your help is appreciated.

Hope this makes sense too.

Thanks

In case you haven't found the answer yet...

On the tools pallette, the top left tool is the marquee tool. It will likely show as a dotted-line square. Click & hold down your mouse button, and you will get other options.

    Choose the elliptical marquee.

On the image you want to draw, point to a spot to start, hold your Shift key down, and draw your circle. If you don't hold the Shift key, you will get an ellipse (which might actually be more useful in some situations).

Grab the circle by its edge to move it into place, if it needs repositioning.

Click Edit/Stroke to choose the size & color of the new circle's edge.

    You're done.

Oh this isn't what I'm looking for.

It's the circle people use in their ebooks etc, to highlight particular parts on an image. It looks like it's drawn with a pen, not a fully complete circle.

      Thanks for your response though.

In artwork and effects select "artwork", then select shapes and then shapes again from the drop down menu. The tool you want is called "Circle thin frame"
