Blogs not showing on "posts page"

Hey Guys,

I created my blog and then decided I wanted a static home page, showing about 10 posts, then some images, slider etc.

I then created a "posts page" but because posts are showing on the static home page, no blogs will show on the posts page. I have since read this is the norm with wordress.

Only some of my blogs are showing on the static home page, so how do I show where all my posts are (I have around 25 posts altogether) if I can't use the posts page to do that task?

    Hi Mike,

It depends on what template/theme you are using. And I think none can answer you correctly without seeing your back end from dashboard.

If you see the Theme carefully it will show some of the posts on the home page. Tou have created a Post page and want to list all of your Post in that section? The Simple answer is don't create a Separate Page for your Posts. The only pages you need to create is contact, Service page, About use and home page by default. When you create a post select the Relevent Category like Health, Business, sports etc and then Publish it. It will create a Category page Automatically. You can Show those categories on your homepage toggle by going in the Theme Customisation and Add Categories. That will start Appearing on your Homepage and all those posts also start showing on your Home Page.

In wordpress, if you go to Settings --> Reading from within the dashboard, you can set the page that is to be used for blog posts. Not sure if this what you need, but thought I would mention it.
