I want something that can stamp out local sites with a good conversion format. I have a copy of Thrive and am looking into that. Any others that are good for this type of use?

Designing sites / pages for a local market IE local SEO the theme really does not matter... its more about what is on the page. Here is a small list of things / plugins you will need to create " better " local pages / sites

The last thing you to want to ensure is mobile usability. I think the best tool to determine this can be found in the Google Search Console ( https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/home?hl=en ) and then use the " mobile usability " function. Just because the theme you may use IS responsive does not mean there might not be some issues.

Get familiar with WhiteSpark ( https://whitespark.ca/ ) in terms of citation building this site is by far the best.

I have never found a " Theme " that has any of the schema or google map functions built it - and thatis what is really needed to get started with Local SEO efforts.

    Hope that Helps!

I've used Elementor and it's nice for a drag and drop setup but for local as in "google local" it's all about the markup and rich snippets as post 4 said. Quality content as always but the correct markup and citation building will win over local seo all day long.

Modern platforms and web builders allow to easily create sites without any coding knowledge. I recommend to check these drag and drop website builders, some of them are availbale for free. Personally I used Weebly Drag and Drop HTML5 Builder and didn't have any problem. It easy-to-use and I was pleased with the result. Hope it helps!

Beaver Builder, one of the best WordPress page builder plugins, states that many of their competitors have built a bad reputation for the industry, at least when it comes to producing poor quality codes.

I would like to suggest Beaver Builder because with it, you can edit the front-end with real-time preview; add rows, reorder and resize the columns as you like.
