Don't you think website design and development is Easy ?

Hey,

Thanks for interest and taking time to read this quick question about website development I really like discussion about web design because I'm new in this field and gaining more info from expert is really helpful for me

Recently I hired website development dubai team in dubai they really did perfect work for me and delivered perfect output, Now i don't wanna pay anyone really i'm thinking to learn website development, Is it hard field or there is any scope of it ? I how much days i can learn all that things ?

    hundreds of hours of learning if not thousands, i do this work for 20 years and never stop learning...
    Not a good idea on my view, anyhow at some point you hire peoples and concentrate working ON the business and not IN the business (as a boss, not a worker)

    better focus on sales, you can close so many sales in the times it take to build a website while outsourcing the work and making 10X more $$$$

      This is my thought too. I have been in the business of design and development for 18 years, and there is no end to the learning because the field keeps changing and expanding. Anyone whose primary purpose in business is to sell a product or service ought to stick with that and leave the design work to someone else.

    that is not that easy i think so, creating a website is easy, but making with great look and applications is not that easy, we need to know atleat basic knowledge on coding.

    I'm more of a designer than a developer. I use HTML and CSS (with a little JavaScript) to create my websites.

    For database functionality, I build WordPress websites. These days, pretty much all of the extra functionality that you need can be done with plugins.

    So to summarize, building a good website by yourself is easier compared to how it was years ago.

    So go for it.

    Totally depends upon skill of a developer because, that how easily he/she can do his/her work.
    People usually think development & designing is difficult but nowadays it is easy enough with the help of various framework and plugins. Even, Some features are already there to serve the developer with drag drop or copy options.

    Nothing is difficult if you have the enigma to learn. I have seen people who have years of experience but are not creative. People with less experience are far more creative and good learner. so It's a good career and but surely need consistent effort in learning something new everyday.

    It might not be very easy but it's not that difficult for sure as is the general conception;. I found courses at Udemy really helpful in understanding the details of web designing. What more, coupon website Kiindly is offering several coupon rewards and cash back offers on education-related services and if you enroll for a course at Udemy through Kiindly, you will surely get certain discounts. I found it to be quite a decent website.

    Well 20 years here of doing this stuff, not easy, no way, if you want to do custom stuff, but you could learn WordPress, but it will take you about 1 year to be really good at it, so start, but this stuff takes time, no short cuts, just start with simple WordPress site and then scale it up,

    In essence, web design refers to both the aesthetic portion of the website and it's usability. Web designers use various design programs such as Adobe Photoshop to create the layout and other visual elements of the website.

    Web Developers, on the other hand, take a website design and actually make a functioning website from it. Web developers use HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, and other programming languages to bring to life the design files.

    So, Both the two tasks are difficult.
    But I think Web Design is much smoother than Web Development.

    It totally depends on how much comfortable you are with coding? If you are comfortable, it is not a big deal. In case you are not, better not waste your time. Though there are too many tools now a days, which eliminate the need of coding to much extent, but any how you can never eliminate coding.

    Building websites (design and development) is extremely easy. I say this as somebody who has been working professionally as a web developer for over 10 years. I was 100% self-taught using free resources. That being said, I highly agree with Yvon Boulianne :

    I lack the skill of sales (which is why I joined here). Design & development takes TIME. I can build any website/app, but without the ability to sell these apps my skillset will never be worth more than the low to mid 6 figures.

    Learn to code, learn design principles, these are all excellent, but your best success will come from learning sales and marketing.

    It definitely takes time and commitment.

    But if it's something that you really want to learn long term, get at it.

    In the meantime, when need be, you can outsource until you are ready to do it yourself.

    You can make your website by WordPress without learning code. But if you want to be a web designer or web developer, then You have to learn code or programming.

    To be a Front-end web developer you have to learn HTML/CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, CSS and JavaScript Frameworks, Responsive Design and so on...

    To be a Backend web developer you have to learn HTML/CSS, jQuery, PHP, PHP Frameworks and so on...

    If you try hard for 1 year, you will get the fundamentals idea of web development. But you have to keep learning all the time if you want to be a Professional Web Developer.

    I would say that website design and development depends a lot on your purpose and intention behind the website development.If you wanna develop a website which has unique functionalities and outstanding qualities then you have to look for someone who is competent enough and smart enough to develop website with amazing look and feel and functionalities. It is not an easy task, if you are thinking about business vision. You have to look for customer service outsourcing.
