Website compatibility for Firefox AND Internet Explorer?

HI,

I've just completed my 2nd simple site. I've got a little problem getting it compatible with the most used browsers: internet explorer and firefox.

The site loads perfectly in the middle of the page (centre) with firefox but when it loads with internet explorer everything is aligned to the left of the page.

I'd appreciate any help I could get to sort this out. It's probably really easy to fix but it's beyond me. I'm a noob!

    It's likely a CSS issue, that's a very common cause of IE incompatibilities. However it would be a LOT easier to answer your specific problem if you would provide the URL of the site in question!
