Affiliates for Wordpress Membership Site Help

I have been searching this for two days here and elsewhere. No luck.
I need a free Wordpress plugin that I can create a paid membership site to download content (ebooks etc) from a plugin like easy digital downloads that works with an affiliate plugin so people can promote the membership subscription and earn a commission. I just can't find the right combination to do the job.
I have the WP Affiliate plugin which works with three types of membership plugins but I need something like easy digital downloads so people can download the products after logging in.
I tried paid membership pro but it is conflicting with Buddypress and has a few other issues. I tried simple membership but it isn't compatible with a digital downloads platform
It seems like a simple task. Pay for membership to access a downloads library and an affiliate link to promote it.
Please help me I don't have enough hair to loose more

    I haven't come across any free ones but memberpress and Learndash are two good ones, unfortunately they are paid for plugins.

      Huh, Learndash has noting to do with building a membership site, it is a plugin to build courses. Well, unless one wants to build a COURSE membership site.

    What it looks like I am going to have to do is use the posts themselves for the product downloads. I am using WP Affiliate Manger and Simple WP Membership. This allows me to create a paid membership that allows only those members to access pages, posts and categories.
    I already spent money on the theme REHub which is excellent for a store and affiliate marketing so I don't have the budget just yet. If I were a programmer this would be a great product to do all I want in one plugin.

    Hi! I have tried free ones on Wordpress and was not very impressed. We use Wishlist Member now and I highly recommend the plugin. It is $197 but well worth the investment.
