I am Restructuring my website Navigation- need some serious suggestions from experienced members

Dear warriors!

I am using the forum since 2011, but, was lesser active in the last few years. Today, when i was going to restructure my site, i wanted to take honest opinion from experienced members, and Warriorforum came first to my mind.

Okay, now, the important part, i have this site- http://ads2020.marketing since 2014...there are more than 500+ posts in it. I am facing some challenges in deciding on the usages of some categories and menu items.

As you can see, the site has .marketing domain extension to it, and there are many categories which are based on marketing, like "content marketing", affiliate marketing", email marketing", etc.

So, should i use categories with "marketing" name in them??

Please answer this, then i have 2-3 more questions regarding navigation...

    Will it be okay as per SEO?.because the site has *.marketing domain extension to it as well. so, a category, for ex. will be- ads.2020.marketing/on/content-marketing

    so, there will be like 2 "marketing" words in the url. wont it hurt SEO??

      Well, like we say we should call a cat, a cat, so in terms of keywords it's the sames thing.

      I mean, if you have on your site content for those three categories, I can't see how you would make them appear on the SERPs otherwise, without using them. So, NO, there's absolutely NO problem to have ALL marketing categories on your website and create a category for each one of them.

    You have two options. First, you can Marketing as your primary category and then other topics like Email, Affiliate etc. as sub-categories.

    The second, and better option, is since you already have the word marketing in your URL, you do not need to use it again in the category slug. You can just use Email, Affiliate etc. as your primary categories.

    For this, you can use "Marketing" as your parent category, and as the sub categories, you can put related the parent categories, such as email marketing, SEO marketing, content marketing, affiliate marketing, social media marketing, etc. And you can custom the parent category as your need.

    I would suggest that you don't use the keyword marketing in the subcategory. Lately, Google has been very merciless with sites that try to arm-twist him. You may be a victim and it could be devastating to your business. Why not engage an expert so that you do the right thin
