Wordpress undesrstanding for a non-technical person

Hi Warrior Designers !!
Is it possible for a non-technical person to create his own simple website and manage those. I just need to write few lines and show some images.
Someone told me about wordpress. Need guidance from the warriors.

      Be careful with plugin bloat though. I believe I read that you really don't want to run more than 10 plugins on a single site. Anything above that significantly increases your chances of getting hacked, or your site busting with a bad plugin etc... If you require a bunch of plugins, it might be better to custom build something that suits your needs rather than trying to plugin-hack it together. Just some thoughts on this.

    wordpress is a great and easy to learn. If you want to get a better understanding simply go to youtube and there are countless videos which will help you in all aspects of wordpress.

    WordPress is a good place to start. I host my site at Bluehost which works well with WordPress. I follow a YouTube guru that really helps newbies with WordPress. He has a group page on Facebook too where everyone is so helpful when you have questions or just help newbies learn. WPcrafter.com is his site and WordPress For Non-Techies is his YouTube channel.

    Yes, definitely go with Wordpress. My recommendation for people when they want to create a website is Siteground (hosting) + Wordpress (CMS) + OceanWP (theme) + Elementor (page builder).

    Yes for starters, you can do your staff on word press. But as you get more advanced, you will need to transfer to a more advanced platform. Unfortunately, I hear that WordPress will not allow you to effect the transfer. Whether it is true or not, I don't know. I have never tried it.

      You are better off with your own WP site, than a site like Wix which they control. If the OP wants to transfer from a drag and drop to WP he is in for a serious headache!

    I'm learning about how to do the same thing today, there's a ton of different guides for how to set it up quick and easy. Bluehost has a pretty simple guide that I'm reading right now and it seems they make it pretty easy to integrate wordpress

    There are major differences between simple WordPress (WP) websites and advanced WP sites for Internet Marketers.


    When you build a WP sites for internet marketing I suggest you setup your web host's control panel for email from your domain before you create any type of website especially WP.

    Word press is really easy to learn, and if you have it installed you have got the difficult part out of the way. In fact, if you can use word processor software, you can use Word press. The power of Word press is that it puts you in charge, and as such I would personally not hire someone at the initial stages. Once you have your pages up, and have the content done, you might want to get a Word press professional to customize a theme, check plugins, and other stuff. There are three quick ways to learn the basics of Word press. Investing in a course is probably a good idea, if you need to go.

    Wordpress is the most used CMS in the world - and its justified. Trust me, its way easy to use, give it a few days of tweaking around and you will become an expert. That said, it all depends what you are trying to achieve with wordpress - an ecommerce site to sell products, a simple blog or a portfolio site or a simple website with few pages. Its easy to achieve - just go with a simple, free theme (Oceanwp - its free, fast, responsive and fun to work with), a page builder (to create the web pages) like Elementor - which again is free and few other tools. If you are into ecommerce, just add woocommerce - that's again free and has tons of feature to make it work for you.

    The best way for a non-technical person to learn the basics of WordPress is by using it. In fact currently thousands of non-technical people use WordPress to manage their blogs and websites.
    Start by learning how to create a post and page in WordPress. How to edit and delete them.
    For any WordPress related question you will tons of help on hundreds of websites. Simply google like:
