Re-Design using Elementor

Hi Guys

I am using an Avada theme and would like to start using Elementor as my prefered page designer option. I have several pages already built using the themes 'fusion builder' but want to change, convert these all to Elementor. My question is

1. Would it be better to start afresh with a new page and once published use a re-direct of the old page to the new one or somehow try and delete and add Elementor elements on my existing page as I go along which no doubt could be messy?

Thoughts?

I am no web designer but a little better than a newbie

Regards

Costa

Avada and elementor don't work well together IMO, I have tried and never got good results for my clients. You can switch to Oceanwp - its a free theme designed with elementor and has all the bells and whistles you are looking for in a paid theme like avada. Moreover, the support at wordpress.org is available for customizations. It is one of the most downloaded themes in wordpress.org. Give it a try, you will love it!

    Hi Costa,

You will get a lot of conflict using Elementor with Avada as a pose to fusion builder. I do believe there is a way to create a custom header and footer in Elementor which you could use to replicated your current design.

I recommend starting from scratch. Use Ocean Wp as your theme change front end elements using Elementor plugin.

    Hope this helps!
