Numerous website hits from china - how to stop?

Hello warriors,

Does anyone know how to stop this and what the purpose is? I have had 100's of hits from china in the last 3 days, i'm not sure the intent, but I want to know if there is a way to block it? IP addresses are all different, but obviously from the same source.

Any help, intel, suggestions would be appreciated!

my host has even installed robot txt that will supposedly block all hits from china - but that has not helped, still getting hundreds of hits daily...

You can use something like this - https://www.countryipblocks.net/acl.php and select China and then add to your .htaccess or if using WordPress you can use a plugin such as IP2Location Country Blocker
