I'm moving two of my old websites from static (HTML) to Wordpress. However, this migration to a new Wordpress site can take me months. Each website has more than one thousand pages, and creating the new pages one by one keeps me from doing other things. Therefore I'm thinking that maybe it's better to create the new Wordpress site from scratch using the same domain. On the new Website I would include a link to the old static website. Of course, the static pages with more traffic and best SERPS would be renovated and included as Wordpress articles. What do you think about this strategy? Is it better to do it this way instead of moving hundreds of HYML pages?
