I need to start moving my sites to the new themes as Prostyler is being neglected and could stop working pretty soon.
I am looking at Astra or something similar but I have seen some sites build without the page builder and they look really bad, if I use elementor how much weight does it adds to the site?
The thing is these sites in my competition are nr 1 on google, but as I said their layouts are really poor so it looks like improving the style on the website with the builder comes with the cost of lower position because of the weight and slower page speed? Is this correct?
#builder #elementor

An alternative to Elementor is Divi page builder. I am unsure how much JS/CSS it adds though.

I don't think that the Elementor is falling you down. I heard that there are 200+ factors which Google consider. Let's say, Elementor is one of them, but still you are missing 199+

Hope it will clear some confusion in your mind.

Elementor is pretty light-weight for a page builder. I use it on several cheap shared hosting accounts and if you know how to properly optimize Wordpress, it shouldn't give you any problems at all.

I use elementor. No issues at all with respect to pageload. The cache and the CDN keep everything humming.

I used Phoenix in the past but recently switched to Elementor, which is more user-friendly and useful to create pages. I haven't had any issues lately.
