Good webhost for Social Media e-commerce site

We are starting a social media site with a forum and an e-commerce section, hoping to grow big next year, and looking for a few good webhost sites to build on.

I have little coding experience so easy intuitive drag and drop platform would be nice, although if need be, I can learn wordpress (if there are considerable advantage for that).

I want to build a professional looking website with growth potential. Also, I will be selling items in e-commerce section.

Forum section is also a must (although I can have a separate website for that if there is a great webhost site without a forum section someone want to recommend)

    If you're talking about the drag-and-drop site builders that many hosting companies offer as part of the hosting package, I doubt if you'll find one that can provide an eCommerce and forum section and also allows for much in the way of growth.

    For what you're planning, it sounds like a job for an experienced designer/site builder. The hosting part is relatively straightforward, and can be easily sorted out once your site is ready to go live.

      What are your priorities? Do you want to get the site up and running reasonably soon or are you content to do it all yourself and learn from your mistakes along the way?

      And again, don't worry about the hosting company at this stage - you're miles away from having to make that decision.

      If Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and SEMrush are to be part of your plan I would reconsider BlueHost:

    I am in the process learning wordpress so I can't go with blue yet - can someone recommend an economical host site with multiple website allowing payment methods like paypal and credit cards?

    You are not answering the questions asked. Wordpress builds a WEBSITE so why can't you use whatever hosting suits your requirements?

    Of course hosting companies accept paypal/credit cards - you can check on their sales pages to see what payment options are.

    "with multiple website" - do you mean multiple sites on one hosting acct?

    Forum can't advise on specific hosting packages or pricing for them.




    EDIT: You may be referring to a webhost setting up payment system for your sales on your site. The web hosting provides hosting for your site - not support for your business. You will need to establish your own payment options if selling your own products.
