Have recently migrated from Windows to MacBook Air, and it would appear that my trusty old Dreamweaver 8 (only use it for opt-in pages now) is incompatible.

Wondered if anyone could suggest a WYSIWYG substitute as I understand DW is no longer available, or plain doesn't work, at least for Mac.

Have you thought about using a website builder? It seems to be an easier way. You can choose one of the most popular ones that offer the biggest number of features and options like Wix, Squarespace, Weebly, GoDaddy, etc. I like using this source https://www.webbuildersguide.com to check reviews and guides.
