CREATING A WEBSITE IN WORDPRESS SO EASY TODAY

Creating a fully functional website has become as easy as 1 2 3! The new designs and general architecture has been so much simplified that even a person who ain't ICT savvy can put up a good website within a few hours.

Gone are the days when we had to wait for more than 30 hours for the XML Sitemap to be verified - actually these days you don't have to configure anything, the plugin does it for you!

Gone are the days when you had to wait for around 12 hours to post an article so that it can be published online, now you can post 4 or more articles simultaneously with no qualm about their visibilities on the search engines.

I find this rather boring! The control and manual set up in the design has been taken away from us!

Am I that old school? Can someone relate with me on this?

  • I remember back in the day when you registered a new
    domain name and pointed the DNS to your hosting, you
    had to wait nearly a week for it to resolve. Now it just
    takes a few minutes, it's almost instantaneous.

    I have always found WP to be easy, back in the day you
    could host them on HG for no additional fee. I always
    fiddled with the codes though, to remove the dates from
    displaying, and other things like that.

    Now I prefer regular HTML sites, they are just quicker
    and easier, I can set up a 20 to 30 page site in a couple
    of days, using A.I. for content creation.

    Unless I require a special function, I don't bother with
    WP that much anymore, but I think it's fantastic.

  • Functional websites can be put up. However, to put your own unique thing on it is a another story. That's something that probably takes a good deal of time.

  • Yes, the process has moved very fast. everything can be done very fast. it makes you a bit sad. it used to be better. it was more pleasant to wait. nowadays everything is very fast. The expert in wp can do everything. Personally, that's what I'm doing.

  • WordPress sites are very convenient and simple, if you have a unique template design and good hosting, many opportunities are open to you

  • Don't even think about wasting your time on the constructor if it's not a temporary page for advertising!!! WIX is essentially not your property, use wix only in case of quickly creating a page, for quickly selling some product, to save on developers. For SEO - wix black hole

  • My preference is the Genesis Framework, with a decent page builder. Yes, Wordpress is a great tool.

  • Each CMS has its own purpose, which can be divided into: blog, online store, forum, gallery. You shouldn't use WordPress for an online store, or Joomla for a forum, there's SMF for that. The correct choice for the required tasks is a necessary action for a successful project
