What happens to my content if I transfer my domain and hosting?

I have a site that I want to transfer to a new domain registrar and change my hosting.. Will I lose any content or settings on my site? It is a wordpress site and doesn't the WP application get installed to the host that your are on?.. So If I switched hosts, would I have to reinstall the WP app and resubmit all of my content?

Any info on this subject would be much appreciated!

    You can backup the Database that holds all the content for your Wordpress blog. Then when you get to the new site, you can load the Database back up into it.

    What you need to do is Google this topic and you will find a number of sites that teach you how to do this step by step... It's not hard, I just don't want to type it all in here when it is already available out on the net.
