Get Response Opt-in form HTML code

Hi there

I have uploaded my own opt-in form graphics html code to a text widget in Wordpress.

I have created a webform in Get Response.

The problem I'm looking for help with is:

Where in the Get Response HTML code do I get the code to actually activate the 'Free Download' button I have after user has entered their Name & Email? All I want to do is take this code and enter it into my own text widget.

I have looked and looked, and sent email support to Get Response, but just cannot find the answer anywhere.

Can somebody help me please?

    Maybe I am misunderstanding your question but the getresponse code does not contain a free download button.

    It does contain a submit button which can be customised. (You should be using the inline form and copying the raw HTML code, not the javascript). When clicked it will then send the user a email to confirm their sign up, and you can redirect them wherever you want, be it a thank you, now please check your email page, or directly to the download page (not recommended).

    Perhaps if you let me have your blog address I can see how far you have progressed and help you out some more.

    I would start with the GetResponse code, using the "for webmasters" option and copy that in it's entirety into your WordPress text widget, then add your code into the GetResponse code, rather than the other way around.

    Also, if you have dreamweaver or another html editor, before adding the code to WordPress, create a new html page and add the GetResponse code in, and then use that to add in your code and graphics to see how it sits and then move it over to WordPress.
