Convert psd from CS4 to Photoshop 6 compatible file

Hey guys,

I have a psd file that was created for me that will not open in my Photoshop 6.

I believe it was created with a newer format of Photoshop (like CS4) and when saving a file there, there is an option to make it backwards compatible, but apparently mine is not.

Can someone with CS4 take my file, open it, and re-save it in the correct format and send it back to me? (pretty please)

If that doesn't work, maybe just remove the text part and send the image back in png format??

The original creator is unavailable, that is why I am here.
