Designers: Do you 'Plug' the Sites you Design?

I'm curious about 2 things.

For paying clients, Do you leave your contact info, name, URL in the source code, CSS or footer? Or do you leave some kind of uniquely identifiable information in the code?

For free templates, do you track installations and enforce footer URL requirements? If so, how?

    well when i make payed websites i don't usually put my name and everything on the sites, you can if you like but if that is ok with the client... for free i just put it if they could add a link to my sites

    I agree with onlinemarketer. As for tracking and enforcement on a free template, active enforcement is a waste of time (IMO). If you do find one without the footer, maybe send a polite e-mail requesting that it be replaced. The key here is that putting out a great theme will usually result in the user giving props to the creator. That's my policy anyway - I always keep developer credits in place.
