Wordpress Stopped Working....

Have a wordpress blog and suddenly I can't change the themes or add new media to the site. The wordpress loading bar comes up and never actually does anything. Any help would be appreciated

    1) What is your current WordPress version? (2.8.4, 2.9, 2.9.1, etc)
    2) What is your recent activities on the site? (upgrade/install a plugin or a theme, etc)
    3) Which loading bar are you refering? (browser's loading bar, wordpress's media uploader, etc)
