My first attempt at designing a website

I will be creating a number of websites and squeeze pages for my business. Because I still have a full-time job and very little time on my hands, I will be using a site that will let me create webpages using templates.

I have purchased domain names from goDaddy and with that purchase I can design some webpages and squeeze pages and have them hosted without any additional costs. They only allow you to create a website with at most 5 pages. Anything beyond 5 pages will cost.

I am not too concerned because most of my pages are for the purpose of persuading people to join my business opportunity. Thus, I don't want to be too long winded in my presentation or in the content of these websites.

Can anybody recommend some pointers or show me some places that will teach a newbie like me on how to create websites and squeeze pages that will attract visitors? I have two links that I will be going through in the upcoming days. What do you think? Am I heading in the right direction?

well a simple design can do but not too simple, the important thing is the content of your site... you can hire a designer if you want a bit of a flashy site or something... and you can also do it without some squeeze page or like that, just make some articles about your products and then join social sites, that helps too but takes a lot of time

    Work2bfree,

If you are serious about being an internet marketer you really need a quality hosting account where you are free to put up what you want, when you want.

As you get deeper into IM you will realize the need for space to giveaway download pages and the like.

Check out: Internet Marketer's Web Hosting
$9.95 a month with 5 gigs of space and unlimited domains.

Thank you both of you. I will look into your suggestions. One of the sites that I want to setup is going to be used to share persuasive information about one of my business opportunities. I don't like the sites that come with the company so I am having to create my own. Now, if only I can find the time.

Not sure what part you really wanted reviewed, the PDF or the main site. For your main site...I think that it is a good start but maybe too big of margins. It took up almost my entire screen which distracted me. I would think of a mini-site kind of as a squeeze page. I liked your talking web lady. How much did that run you and where'd you get her? I have been thinking of adding one to my own site but not sure what outfit would be best to go with.

Abel has the right idea. Just get started!

That first site may not look 'professionally made' but it got you started. You'll find that as time goes on you'll get better and better and better at things. Just like a lot of things it takes practice.

Lots of people say they would do anything for that $300 per month, but that's the problem... they're just saying it. You gotta do!

It's highly recommended that you build your niche site deliberately as an affiliate marketing website -- specifically designed for that purpose -- at a host company such as SiteBuildIt that focuses on revenue producing sites. It's fast and easy to get a web site up with their incredible technologies. They go beyond just hosting and email to offer an array of tools which are vital to an affiliate marketer.
