What is your skill set? Do you want to outsource or a D-I-Y solution?

I haven't had much experience with wordpress. I have decided to use the wpremix3 theme and I have a guy customizing the header and menus for me(I suck at graphic design). I think I can figure the rest out. Any recommendation's on must have plug-ins for wordpress?

you can still use word press, you just need a more CMS style template. Take a look at iThemes. They have a group of great themes for this porpose.

If you're using Wordpress as a CMS, that probably means lots of pages... so the PageMash plugin comes immediately to mind. It helps you organize your page structure.

Headspace is another one of the first plugins I install on a new WP site. That's for organizing page titles, meta descriptions, and adding in things like Google analytics code.
