a request for help for modifiying Wordpress Theme

Hello warriors;
I am quite new to website design i heared about CMS like wordpress i have now the wordpress lifestyle theme, and i want to modify it to look something like

http://www.wordpressthemestorage.com.../lifestyle.jpg

or in other words i need to add extra artilces to the site other that creating posts in categories, which will add the same artilce to the same category, i found the theme options which allows you to add to the same categories, the question is how to add more options to the theme options.

  • If I understand correctly, you want to add articles, not posts. From your WordPress dashboard choose Pages > Add New. Pages don't get archived like posts--they stay put.

    • Actually what i mean is that i want to add another rectangle like the Music down the site shown at the link or to add an article within a new coloumn like the one named fitness or relation ships.
  • You will need new categories for that (just a guess) AND to modify the index.php or home.php (depending how they designed the theme) to show that additional category.
