Adjusting slider width with CSS?

Hello, I am having a bit of a hard time changing the size of slider tags (BVD - Beautful Website Design).

As you can see the top of the slider goes off the page. I am wanting to keep the aspect ratio the same size and would rather use CSS to fix the widget. Below is the CSS which is governing the widget:

#blogSliderWrap { width: 960px; margin: 0 auto; padding: 40px 0 20px 0;
position: relative; }
#blogSlider { margin: 0 auto; width: 960px; }
.stripViewer { position: relative; overflow: hidden; clear: both; }
.stripViewer .panelContainer { position: relative; left: 0px; top: 0px; }
.stripViewer .panelContainer .panel { float: left; position: relative; width: 960px; }
.stripNav { position: relative; top: 0;left: 10px; z-index: 99; }
.wrapper { padding: 5px; }
.innerWrap { width: 960px; overflow: hidden; }
Does anyone have any easy recommendations on how I can reduce the size of the widget without negatively effecting everything else just by using CSS?

Thanks goes to the victor!

    It's not clear what you are asking. If I interpret this from the perspective that you want to perform some action that changes the sizing in response, then the answer is CSS by itself is not really dynamic, so if your objective is to avoid using javascript to perform a resize, it will be fruitless. You will at a minimum need to write a js function that changes the style values.

    If on the other hand, the correct interpretation is that you wish to change the code you have to alter the size statically then the key will be to simply alter some of the sizing parms, particluarly height and width.
