wpomatic not updating?

I am using wpomatic on a site and everything seems to be working just fine...it counts down and indicates when it will fetch feeds next but I never get new posts unless I manually hit fetch.

I have been working on the site and adding feeds and hitting fetch quite a bit. Do I just have to give it some time where I am not fetching manually?

I had to set up a cron job (I have no idea that does) that runs at 3 in the morning. does it have to run before the new posts can be fetched and posted?

    I do not know what version of WP you are running, but Wp-O-Matic has not worked correctly in some time. If you are looking for an alternative plugin, you may want to check out FeedWordpress. I have used this on a number of sites and have not had a problem with it.

      Ok I may just buy wprobot as I hear its the best out there right now. Did the developer just stop supporting wp omatic?

    I have wprobot and it works fine. The only thing it doesn't do is let you choose the author.
