Hi ya'll,

I uploaded a mp4 movie file to my site that's built using Dreamweaver. I refreshed, saved and uploaded but I can't see it on my site. I checked Adobe's help and they said I had to have 4 files for it to be seen which as far as I can tell, I have those.

Here's the url Network Marketing Internet Business . The movie is supposed to be in that big white space above the fold. Maybe someone can tell me what's wrong by looking at the source code?

Wish I made enough money to hire a webmaster! I really do appreciate all your help.

many thanks in advance,

Eunice

I think you have a blessing in disguise. Uploading a raw mp4 to your web host and linking from a web page is a bad idea.

I would *never* upload an .mp4 natively to a website. Go and find one of the many sites that offer to host your video (youtube, vimeo, etc) and have them do the hard work.

Trust me, as somebody that has been doing this for 10 years. You would be amazed at the number of folks who have some problem viewing embedded video such as mp4.

Why is that a bad idea, to upload a mp4 to my website?

I tried YouTube but it took out my audio b/c I have a portion of a copyrighted song on it. I tried Vimeo but my file's too large. So that's why I decided to upload it straight to the site.

If you can suggest another video site that will upload a file larger than 25mb, I'd be happy to try it.

      thanks,

      Eunice

Its because of the size, It eats your bandwidth and if there is some traffic coming to your site and all of them try to watch the video then your site will be very slow.
