Adding A Paypal Add To Cart Button In A Wordpress Blog

I'm getting conflicting information about adding Pay Pal add to cart buttons to WP blogs.

I've been using straight html/css for my sites but want to give WP a try. I keep hearing that you can't add a PP button to a WP blog because of Javascript security issues.

I'd appreciate some real world, in the trenches experience from the warriors here.

Also... will it make a difference if I use a service such as e-junkie?

No you can add a straight paypal button to any WP page or post.

Simply copy the HTML code from PayPal and paste into your WP post.

    It's that simple..

    No security issues at all..

    Hope that helps

    Do the same thing.

Edit the post you want to put the button on, make sure the editor is in HTML mode and not WYSIWYG mode, and paste in the code..

    Its that simple

    Hope this helps

  • Stick to using html/css for easy Paypal integration. Using WP with Paypal isn't the best solution for a shopping cart. WP was never designed for this hence the issues.
