OK, another Wordpress question.

How do I get a Wordpress site to have a static front page and a blog on another page which I would name - blog <- pretty creative, eh?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi Chris

First create a new page for your home page and one for your blog page (don't bother putting any text on the blog page).

In your WordPress dashboard on the left side choose "Settings" and then "Reading".

Now change "Froont Page Displays" to a "static page". Use the two comboboxes to select the appropriate home and post (i.e. blog) pages.

    That should do the trick!

      Thanks for the quick reply!

I found the second drop down box for postings. Need to let my ADD slow down a bit. Guess sometimes when you look the hardest, the stuff right in front of you disappears!

    Glad to be of service!

I don't have ADD, but your reply did start me seeing double!

Let me know if I can be of assistance in the future.

P.S. As soon as I posted this the duplicate post disappeared - maybe there is more wrong with me than I was aware!
