I am using Frontpage for my website and inserted an image of my book. When I am on Frontpage the image shows up in the normal and preview view but when the index page is uploaded using Godaddy FTP program the image is just a white box with a red X in it. Why isn't the image showing up?

You can see it here

Thanks for any help on fixing this image problem.

I really do appreciate all the help fellow warriors offer.

it sounds like the file path is wrong , check the image path, where the red x is and see if that matches the path you have uploaded to

    Hi Laura,

If you right click the image on your web page, the pop-up window will show you exactly where it expects to find the image. You need to upload the image to that spot in your GoDaddy account.

    UGH

I did the right click on the image and did the exact URL that shows. Uploaded and still the box with the red X.

Then I went to photobucket uploaded the image and copied the HTML code and put that on the website and uploaded to godaddy it still isn't working right.

    Now what do I do?

Any ideas of why it isn't working?

    Thanks

OK...checked on lunch for a few minutes, came back and looked at my website and now it is working.

Thank goodness. When I uploaded the photobucket html it must have just taken a few minutes to show on the website.

    Thanks everyone!

      Hi Laura,

Good to see you got it figured out.

I see you're just drawing the image from Photobucket. That's ok. As long as your image stays on Photobucket. Sometimes it's better to keep everything together on your site in case Photobucket ever goes down for any reason.
