Hi all, i am looking for someone to build me a boat website.
so people can sell there boats.

anyone have any ideas on what this would cost?

    Can you give more information?

    If you wanted it to simply use a e-commerce software it'd be fairly inexpensive to do.

    If you wanted it bespoke, it could be at least thousands.

    So yeah, can you clarify your needs please?

      Hi, well it just needs catorgorys of boats, featured boats on the home page. login details for members, payments for listings.

      thats all i can think of at the moment..

    I'd personally suggest that you use a pre-existing script such as osCommerce (osCommerce, Open Source Online Shop E-Commerce Solutions), CubeCart (CubeCart - Free & Commercial Online Shopping Cart Solutions) or Zen Cart (ecommerce shopping cart software by Zen Cart ecommerce solution) to power it, and then change the design to suit your needs. All these scripts offer the features you say you want so they could be good options for you.

    Clearly if you aren't able to install the scripts and change the design, you can probably pay someone less than $100 to have them do it for you.

    Edit: Hmm, thinking about it - are you more looking for a platform such as eBay? As in, not a shop software, but more of a classifieds software? (I ask since you say you want a site where other people can sell their boats)
