an important notice if you install wp 2.8 from fantastico
This is my experience some time ago.
there are several reasons why we did not install the wp latest version.
because of some very useful plugins do not support the latest version wp.2.9.
for example: Text Link Ads inlinks plugin
This is very important for your blog, if you do not change it then your blog will never appear on Google.
The case:
if you are installing wp 2.8 from fantastico its default setting is blocking search engine to indexing your blog then you must change it soon.
Solution:
- Login to your blog dashboard.
- Go to setting, Privacy and change the choice to "I would like my blog to be visible to everyone,........"
