I have a static html sales page and need help converting to wordpress. Is there any tutorials or free info out there on how to do it without paying someone to do it? is this easy to do?

Any help will be appreciated. Cheers!

If you want to do it yourself I recommend you go to youtube and search for converting html to wordpress. I would ignore videos less than 5 minutes as they are usually just sales videos.

    Luck!

Easy? No. Not to have it look exactly the same.

It depends on your HTML template of course, and the
    Wordpress them you start with.

As the others have mentioned, it is not an easy task, and a lot of it depends upon two things:

    1) Your ability to read and understand HTML/CSS.
    2) The WordPress theme for which you are working with.

Just sitting here brainstorming, I would create a new page in Wordpress. I would next go into HTML mode on WordPress and copy *just* the page content of your static HTML sales page (here is where you will need HTML knowledge to know where your content starts and where it ends). That will give you the content in the page.

If you want to keep your theme, but just have the content, then you're done at this point. Just go into the page and clean up anything that looks strange.

However, if you want it to look *exactly* like your static page, then there's much more to do. You will need to basically create your own theme at this point. I would also suggest going to YouTube at this point.

So are you looking to copy content only, or reproduce the page in tact?

Thanks for the tips, yeah I need it to look exactly like my sales page theme with the graphics. I have all the PSD files but dont know what to do with it. I have some knowledge on html but when it comes to CSS im stuck. I guess I'll just have to hire a designer to convert it for me.
