(Hope this is the right place to post this )

Can anyone recommend any good banner-creation software - preferably low-cost (if not free) .. and not too technical to use?

    Here you go BANNER MAKER its very easy to use, you will need Photoshop Elements or the full version of Photoshop to use this, BUT its much better than the mass generated banners you find online, plus you will have the added benefit of quickly learning how to do this yourself which will save you boatloads on money

    There are instructional videos included that are very simple and easy to follow, honestly you will have your own banners you designed and created within 15 minutes after watching the very short video tutorial.

      Not to appear too ignorant, but what does PhotoShop Elements do that Banner Maker doesn't ... like why do I need it?

      And does the instructions that come with Banner Maker explain how to use Photoshop Elements with it?

        You need Photoshop Elements at minumum because you will be working with graphics and PSD files. It may sound complicated but the product explains it all to you with video.

        If you decide to purchase the Banner Maker and need some help, I will make a video to show you how to make a banner

        There is a video included in the product that shows you exactly step by step how to make a banner from scratch......but if you need more help, which you shouldnt just P.M. me or get me on Skype..........

    You can work with PSD files in Paint.net with a plugin.

      Yes, but the Banner Maker, I shared with him will not work with Paint.net, only with Photoshop.........
