Wordpress Editing Help

On a recent wordpress blog i set up, i went in to edit a page and am unable to. In the edit box, the text that is there is greyed out and only visible when you highlight it with the cursor. As well, i am unable to click on the HTML tab to edit any links i have on there. I do not know what is causing this and would appreciate any help/advice/feedback.

  • Is this your own WP site or a blog in Wordpress.com? If it is yours, did you recently upgrade WP?

    Anyway, try this...

    Go to the Admin area... go to Users --> pick your profile...

    Check on "Disable the visual editor when writing"

    Click on the "Update Profile" button on the bottom

    Go back and try the editor...
