Should i send all my traffic to my blog or should i send it all to my landing page with my sales video and have a link to my blog?
Or instead of all that, just make my sales video always on the first page of my blog?

    Hi there,

That's an interesting question you pose and I guess it all depends on what you are trying to achieve. Sell a product, promote your blog or both?

Have you consider the options from your customers perspective and what they might do as a result of the scenarios?

    Si.

I would guess it depends on the customer type. There's beginner, intermediate, and advanced. I would almost guess the blog would be best for articles related to my affiliate product then a link to the sales video page.

Edit: and by articles, i mean articles for each type of customer.

Let's say I found you on a social site like FaceBook etc.
I might be interested in your blog but if it turned out
to be just a sales page I would not happy, or might have never clicked
    in the first place.
I like the idea of adding your sales video to your Blog
    (first page).

If it were me, I would send the traffic to my blog and have my sales video on there. I find you can promote your blog more effectively and drive more traffic there than straight to a sales page.

If the traffic is from social networking sites, send it to a blog. There is continuity in the medium. A blog is sort of like a social networking site. Use the blog to capture contact information, build rapport, then sell.

If the traffic is targeted traffic, warmed up and ready to buy, then send the traffic to your salesletter.

Third variation is to send "cold" traffic (people that don't know you, trust you, or like you yet) to a website that offers the information they are looking for, so you can build a relationship, find out what they want, and provide it.

When in doubt, send to a salesletter, and use an exit pop-up to capture contact info from those who don't buy.

    Just a suggestion.
