Wordpress won't hyperlink anything

I can't figure out why wordpress won't hyperlink anything. If i'm log'd into the control panel and edit a comment, use html code with the link, it doesn't show up in the comment after editing. I've tried this numerous ways and can't get it to work. Am i missing something? I even tried an autohyperlink plugin and even that's no doing something.
I've even checked to make sure it's not a setting i'm missing. So anyone got any ideas? i'm fresh out.

It might help things if you are happy to post a link to the site and page with the comment you are talking about?

    Thanks

I had this happen to me from time to time when I would use some themes I found online. I do not know why it wouldn't work, but certain things in some other peoples themes if that is what it is, just may not work all the time. I had an issue with one where I also couldn't bold anything.

Now I create my own themes, and use them...no more hassles LOL

Could it be possible that the link works, but the text isn't underlined or blue? If so, check the CSS page for text-decoration settings.

      Hi TCMarketer

Forget plugins for hyperlinking for the moment. You answer lies almost certainly in the CSS of your theme. Why not let Suzanne or me take a look at the theme for you?

You are looking for "Text decoration" settings.
There is no link on your page at the moment.

I suspect that your link setting up is wrong.

The free report in my sig will show you how to set up a link

Thanks Kenj, i know how to set up a link it's just that they don't work, either automatically or manually editing them using the admin panel. I looked for the text decoration settings and couldn't find them on either the CSS or any of the wordpress template files.

I have this issue as well. I have tried repeatedly with no success to hyperlink within my Wordpress blog. I am still unable to do so. Is there a specific reason?
