How to make a single featured post in WP?

Does anyone know how I can have just one featured post in WP?

I have a review site and I want to make it clear to readers that their comments / ratings are very welcome.

However, the only way I can think of to do this is to make a simple post that would always be the first post on the blog.

Or, to include that somewhere in the Main Index Template or Page Template.

Does anyone know how this can be done?

    Hi

In the editing page of your post or the quickedit view, you can select the 'make this post sticky' option which will always show that particular post as the first post shown on your homepage

If you can't get that to work there is always the WP plugin 'WP Sticky' which effectively does the same thing (was written for previous versions of WP that didn't have the 'make sticky' option

    Hope that helps

    Best of luck

You need to login to your WP admin, create a new post and do like Steve said above. If that failed, you also can get WP plugin 'WP Sticky' to able to do that. You can google it. Hope this help
