Need major watermark help

Have a client that is having major problem with product images and descriptions (and other text) being copied and used.

I understand how to watermark images, but what about text?

What is the opinion of watermarking whole pages?

If so, what program or code will do that? Can it be implemented in shopping carts too?

You can only watermark image files. Videos too. You cannot
watermark text but you can use Copyscape to go after people
who steal your web copy.

You can use graphics in place of HTML and use alt-text for users
who cannot see the graphics. Of course thieves can go into
your page source and copy the alt-text, but that's more work
too.

I have some copy on one of my sites that is rendered as a
graphic, mostly because I wanted total control over the
layout, but as an added benefit it makes my writing laborious
to swipe.

If bandwidth theft is the problem, as well as image theft, here's
