Adding tables in Wordpress

I'm new to WP and added the Tiny Table plugin controls (in the TinyMCE Rich Visual Editor). It says it's installed and I activated it and restarted my computer but when I'm in edit mode I don't see the add table icon anywhere. What did I do wrong? Thanks.

Did you click the "kitchen sink" icon button (last toolbar button on the right of the first row) to reveal the second row of buttons in the editor?

  Did you go to the settings page for TinyMCE once you activated it and drag the tables icon over and then click SAVE OPTIONS right at the foot of that page? silly question I know but perhaps it might explain why you don't see it in the visual editor?
