Will This Be OK to Do?

Hi

I posted this in the main forum,but think It should of went here.

I have a domaine name that can cover a few different niches,my idea is to build a blog and have several sub domane blogs instead of just seperating them into catergorys.

My main blog domane.com will have links to all of the other sub domanes and the blog post will be little intro post with a link to the relevant post i wrote on the sub domane blogs.

If you understand what I mean then do you think this is a good idea.

Appreciate your thoughts.

    From my personal experience and some research that I have done Google does not rank sub-domains very high. They used to, but it seems that they have something against it now.

    You're better off going with a sub-directory or a separate domain. I know people who have moved a site from a sub-domain to a sub-directory (ie. niche.domain.com to domain.com/niche) and have immediately experienced incredible traffic results.

      Do you mean I should use catergorys as I will be doing this on wordpress? My site will have hundreds of post when complete.

        For best SEO results, I actually suggest that you use different domains. Have one primary domains, which is where you will be listing your posts intros and linking to other domains. Also, where possible, try and link the other domains to one another.

        This approach is often referred to as a mini-network and it has been proven to be a very effective SEO tool.

          Although this sounds good,I'll have to stick with either the catergories or the sub domaines as money is short for now.
