According to CNN IE 6 is finally about to bite the dust:

Internet Explorer 6 finally nearing extinction - CNN.com

And not a moment too soon - transparent PNG and floating Div problems will soon be a thing of the past.

    The div thing has on an occasion or two drove me mad..

    I didn't think the transparent .png was a problem when sticking to using PNG 8 with alpha transparency.

    Almost as happy as I was when 5 was dead..

    Great news!!

    But one question:

    Why Microsoft doesn't auto update all those old browsers? And for those who don't have windows auto update enable, maybe they could create an alert everytime a user opens up IE6 and IE7:

    "Hello. I am a Microsoft Bot. This is a old piece of c..., ermmm software, update now before your PC goes nuts"
