Can anyone recommend a good logo design site? A few years ago, there was one that was highly regarded by internet marketing gurus but I can't recall the name.

    I have had two logos designed by Logonerds here on the warrior forum - http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...only-20-a.html

    Both logos have been very smart and they've managed to create a design that suits my sites exactly. Can't beat the price either. I wouldn't go anywhere else for logos now.

    It depends on your budget. A site like 48hourlogo is great if you have at least 79 dollars to invest. They will give you anywhere from 20 to 80 concepts to choose from and then you can have the designer tweak it till you have exactly the way you want it. Their designs are truly grade A professional designs. If you want it cheap, go to the Warriors-for-hire section and search keyword logos and you'll have a good selection there. You won't get more than three concepts to work with usually, but you can't beat the price.

    Good Luck

      I think that basically any sepectable design studio is capable of producing a successful logotype, but (beeing a logodesigner) the biggest job is always done by the company before making the order.
      Take your time and ask yourself "what signals, emotions and associations do I want my logotype to send to the customer?" Take an hour and brows through some of the awardwinning logotypes out there. Try to google for such as "logo design award 2009" and pick out a few ones that you find attractive and post those to the design company along with the desciption of your expectations. Don't settle for any "quick sollutions" that they may propose with the motive "it's a multimillion dollar company logo.. blah blah" a logo is a logo when it comes to the craftsmanship itself. The hard part is always what to communicate in it.

      Allow yourself to be picky about it as this is a one-time procedure!

    Nancy Weaver..
    Hasn't had a folio up since I have been a member - the site isn't complete.

    @ cq24z
    My buddy did a logo at 48 hr logo and I was shocked at the files they sent.. "they don't screen their designers"

    @ButterflyGarden
    Good for ideas, that's about it....

    Out of the current post,
    LogoNerds is the best......

    Im not sure how they crank logos out at that price but they do a fair job of it...

    Best of luck and let the abuse start..
