Multiple blogs:

example.com/software/blog/
example.com/software/blog/2010/06/11/antivirus-tests/

example.com/autos/blog/
example.com/autos/blog/2010/06/11/new-2010-models/

example.com/gadgets/blog/
example.com/gadgets/blog/2010/06/11/media-player-review/

vs single blog:

example.com/blog/
example.com/blog/2010/06/11/antivirus-tests/
example.com/blog/2010/06/11/new-2010-models/
example.com/blog/2010/06/11/media-player-review/

The single blog makes sense to me if the site had one theme or overall topic, but if it's split into different, unrelated sections I'm wondering if setting up separate blogs with different link/path structures is the better approach?

Which approach would you take?
#blog #blogs #multiple #multiple blogs #sections #single blog #site

Well normally sites are related to one theme so i will use one blog with post title and keywords used in url of posts.Even for multiple theme site one blog is better.we can make catagories in the blog bcz in this way we will not split our traffic into differnt palces and user will get everything at one place

Multiple blogs could easily get confusing because you'd have to login and maintain them all differently in terms of plugins, themes, and content. It could also easily overload your host in terms of MySQL databases unless you put more than one installation in the same database. What links said about traffic is also important.

My advice would be to put everything in categories like he said, then change your permalinks to list the catagory and the post name in the URL for SEO purposes.
