anybody want to try out a new site design tool?

hi, we launched aa widget that enables a true free roaming canvas on your website where images, texts, html, etc.. can all be placed right on top of your existing website unobtrusively. it's literally like having photoshop+dreamweaver on your EXISTING website straight from your browser.

it currently does cross-browser for you so it tries to eliminate a lot of css headaches. it also has css/js fields for each elements that you can edit so it doesn't take anything away from professionals. we are working on making it a true w3c validated editor in the near future. there is also a seo solution with one line of php code for those that are interested.

currently we are selling at $35/domain but if you pm me, i'll be happy to provide you a free VIP account.

we're also trying to find another co-founder who has some strong design skills. so if you know of any, please have them email me at jae at stiqr dot com for interview.

    I looked at your site. Very interesting, and I think your concept will fly.

    I am very busy but I could provide some consulting/development. You need development more than design, even though they're about the same on your site. I can't do co-founding. I have 6 projects currently.

    let's say i'm looking for affiliates right now.
    if you were an affiliate, what type of pricing would you like to see for this tool so that you can go out and resell it?

    we will also have templates created entirely out of this tool that you'd be able to resell as well, such as wordpress/magento/drupal templates... do you think templates created using stiqr should be higher priced or lower priced than other competitors?

    I would have a monthly membership fee. I think pricing per domain is not a good idea.

    You should keep it in the $30 per month range. $15 per month for affiliates, $15 for you.

    I would give templates away for free to attract members. Then they would use your service to customize & edit the templates.

      I agree with Orlando Web Design, by the way, per-domain pricing is a big turnoff, unless you're also going to have a more expensive developer license.
