Start with something free. There are lots of choices
    hubpages.com
    ehow.com
    squidoo.com
    wetpaint.com
    site-reference.com
    blogger.com
    wordpress.com

Start something at all of these if you have the time. It won't happen overnight. You have to learn the ropes and soon you will have your first sale or adsense revenue, etc.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

Affiliate Genie is structured like a blog so it's is more similar to Wordpress.com and blogger.com. Dvduval gave some excellent resources for other free places to promote your affiliate products. Another very good one is weebly.com, which is structured more like a traditional website. A good strategy might be to use a combination of these resources. Good luck!

I suggest that you use WEB 2.0 sites. The most popular that I usually use are wordpress, squidoo, hubpages & blogger. Pretty easy to use and will help you build a reputable site

Mate you should just start on Squidoo and build a lens.

Head over there, start an account and it will take you step by step through the process of setting up your first lens. In this way you don't need a dime of techinical knowledge to create your first site. In fact, with Squidoo you don't even need a site.

So create a Squidoo lens which is basically another word for 'article'. Yeh i know you're wanting to build a site, but by the sounds of things what you really wanting is a way to start earning some affiliate cash.

Squidoo can definitely help you do this.

They have a revenue share program, where you can add advertising modules to your lens, so you can start earning money that way. But that's not all.

You can also add in your own affiliate links to monetize your lens even further - but a word of caution here.

You are best advised to only add your affiliate links a few days after you publish your first lens.

I have had lenses denied because they looked spammy. The way i overcame that was by simply adding the links a few days after the lens was published.

There is a ton of info on here and about to better monetize your lens but don't waste your time on it because at the end of the day it really only comes to this essential formula.

    > Find a desirable product or niche
    > Setup an account on Squidoo - really simple and quick to do
    > Write an article related to the product - reviews, how to, what to do, what not to do, top 10, worst 10 etc try any or all of these
    > Publish the article without affiliate links
    > Wait 3 days then add your affiliate links
    > Drive traffic to your lens - fastest and most effortless way to do this for free is to find forums related to your lens and offer help within that forum, while somehow guiding them towards your lens - either by adding your lens into your sig or when you add your reply.

I must make a confession though, i setup lenses' myself but not for affiliate cash, i use them for other purposes. So there might be some obstacles related to adding affiliate links in your lenses which i have no idea about.

But in saying that you can still use the ads they provide you to make affiliate cash.

    Hope this helps.
