I want to customize the colours for certain parts in my website.
I tried googling for a place where I can check the colour codes by typing in the hexa codes.I want link to a site where I can type in the hexa decimal colour code and thus customize the colours for the specific page elements.I also want to edit a word press themes colour so that I can tweak the design and way in which the site looks and feel. Thanks

I don't quite understand your question. Are you looking for hex codes?

I use color pixie from nattyware but don't know if that would work for this.

I can point my cursor at a color I like and pixie gives me the hex and html for that color. It's great to have when I run across a site where I like the color combinations and also good for matching colors to headers...and it's free.

I think it'd be even easier to just download GIMP and use their color wheel. It gives you a large wheel of colors to choose from and gives you the code for each and every one of them. Pixie is meant for finding colors on a certain thing. Doesn't really help when you're trying to find the perfect color.

ColorSchemer - Online Color Scheme Generator

on the left box, labeled #, just paste the color code (withouth the #, of course) and press "Set HEX".... it will give youthe color and some complementary & contrast colors. Have fun!
