My First Website. Some Questions!
I am by no means a graphic designer or web designer. However, I decided to build a small 4-page site using Dreamweaver and trial-and-error methods. Please don't be too hard on me!
The site is: adamack pro.com (remove space of course)
It is basically a small site based around a flash music store on which I sell my hip-hop, pop, and r&b instrumentals. I've got 2 other sites, but this was the first one which I designed myself. Here comes the questions:
1. Be honest on the design. Does it look very amateurish?
2. Should I ditch this kind of "from scratch" page and use a Wordpress blog to recreate the entire site? Would this typically be more efficient for SEO purposes, better design templates and helpful widgets?
3. How does my on-site SEO appear? Should I include or get rid of anything?
4. If this page is suffice from a functional standpoint but lacks in visual design, would anybody be willing to give it a "facelift"? Most likely a new logo, new header, a nice-looking nav bar, new heading bar backgrounds, etc. If so, could you send me a PM with your previous work and a price quote for my site?
5. Is the age of backlinking through articles still in strong suit? It's been awhile since I've done SEO for a website, and I wasn't sure if the times have changed and article-backlinks were less valued.
Thank you very much for any replies. I wanted to come here for some advice before I put tons of time into marketing the site.
If you have any other ideas for it, please be willing to share.
