Inaccessible Wordpress Blog

Hey Folks....

I created a blog on my own hosted Wordpress installation...

On the general settings under "settings", for some reason the name was changed from http://mydomain.com, to, http://www.mydomain.com.....

Now whenever I try to access my URL in my browser, the blog is still there but all of the theme is missing, sidebar dissapeared and just links everywhere....

I try to access /wp-admin and I keep getting the error message "wwwmydomain.com com doesn't exist.... So, the dot is missing after the www and I can't log into my dashboard..... Can anyone shed any light on how to combat this problem ??

Many thanks in advance.

M

I'm not a WordPress guru, but... If you've just set it up, I'd say log into your cpanel & uninstall WP, then start over. Or maybe use a backup if you've had the site up for a while.

    Hey Aronya

Cheers for your message.... I can get to the wp-admin login page but when it tried to log in, I get the error "Oops! Google Chrome could not find wwwmydomain.com" (without the dot after www)

I can't actually log in....... Any ideas???

    Cheers

I was referring to your website's admin area; www.mydomain.com/cpanel
      Not the WP admin area.
Most web hosts use cpanel, or something similar. From there, you should be able to uninstall WP, then delete any leftover files. When that's done, reinstall WP & upload your theme. I'm assuming that you don't have anything to lose by removing the whole thing.
