Over 300 views but only one sale! Help!

I build a website and it's doing very well on Google but I'm not making any sales!

I'm number 5 and number 10 for two of my keywords on Google.

In the past 5 days I've been averaging 40 people per day.

I like the layout of my site but it's not converting and I don't know why.

So if there's any affiliates out there with that part of the brain that just see that stuff and you want to give me your two cents let me know and I'll PM you my website address.

      Well probably but my skills as a website builder are limited. I thought myself basic HTML and CSS so I can create my sites and play with the codes I need for tracking and other services but that's it.

      You'd be better off hiring a professional here or on Elance.com

    Are your keywords relevant enough? It's great to rank highly but if you're ranking for keywords that are bringing visitors not seeking your product or service, that would explain the low conversion rate.

    You need to have relevant keywords on your site in order for your customers to convert. If you dont have relevant keywords your customers will go to your site looking for something that you dont have and will leave your website.

      I use one keyword site to find keywords for the relevant words that I am adding to my content There are huge amounts of training videos there that explain most of what is needed to know about the effectiveness of keywords. A plus on the site is that the owner has built the site to a powerhouse mostly by organic or "free" search methods and he shares a lot of that information too

      If you need help on how to effectively plan ads and make your keywords "dynamic" there is a program that does that in overkill fashion. For those that do not know: "dynamic" keywords means that you use some php code in your html that actually makes your website show the searched keyword on your webpage when they go there. That REALLY makes keywords relevant.

      All my top keywords have the product's name and the word "review" and get 1000 to 5000 searches on Google. Also I'm starting to show up in Yahoo.

      I'm averaging 30 to 40 visits per day regularly.
